Ok. So you’re interested in booking Those Guys for your wedding and are a little apprehensive that we can pull this off? We understand. To give you a good understanding of how a typical wedding goes for us, it is something like this.

Typically, we cover the cocktail and dinner hours, which are tailor-made to meet the taste of the bride and groom, by supplying music played from our computer with a growing catalog of music of over five thousand songs. In addition, we handle any and all announcements including introductions, cake-cutting, parent dances and any special requests that you may have. In other words, there is no need to hire a DJ in addition to having Those Guys emcee your wedding. This is all followed by over three hours of live music from Those Guys.

We are in the belief that the most important part of your wedding reception is not the food, the tablecloths, the flowers, or if it rains that day. It is the music and whether or not your guests attended the best wedding ever. We consider this our responsibility and we take this responsibility very seriously. Your wedding, after all, is a party, right? It should be not just fun. It should be a blast!

Here are some of the facilities we have performed weddings at in the past as well as a short list of testimonials from those who have booked us for their special day. Feel free to contact any of these former brides or grooms for a better understanding of how their weddings went by inviting Those Guys to perform. Thanks for looking.

Hey John,
We are now 4 weeks post-wedding and we are STILL getting phone calls and emails saying that our wedding was the best wedding anyone has ever been to....and it's because of Those Guys!!  Honestly, you were so far above and beyond anything we could've asked for.  Everyone kept pulling Chris and I aside to tell us what an awesome band we had.  The music you piped in for the cocktail hour and dinner was absolutely perfect and then the live music was unbelievable!  I have an older Aunt from Queens, NY who is the most critical woman I ever met (she asks me what size I'm wearing before she says hello) and even she came up to me and tell me how wonderful the music was.  One of our groomsmen was so enthralled by you guys that his wife said, "I think my husband is leaving me for the band."  The compliments kept coming all night and the guests LOVED when you put the mic in front of someone to help sing along.  You may have made my husband think he has a career in music after the Navy haha. Everything was so high energy and well thought-out.  The order of the playlist was perfect to keep everyone on the floor and excited for the next song. The emcee-ing was perfect as well.  All names were pronounced correctly and the timing of everything was great.  The manager of the country club kept telling us that he wanted you booked for their upcoming events.

I wish I could adequately express how grateful we are...our wedding was truly the best night of our lives and the best party we have ever been to!  Good music is the backbone of a good party and Those Guys provided the absolute best!!!  Thank you so so much for everything!!!  Please feel free to have anyone contact me if they want to ask about your performance- nothing but rave reviews!! Can't wait to see you all again when we get back to Newport!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!

Love,
Chris and Francine

Hi John,
We just wanted to say THANK YOU!!  Words can't even describe how fantastic you guys were at our wedding!  We got compliments from every single person there about how great the band was.  No one could believe how long and hard you played.  Everything went so perfectly, all the intros were correct and your attention to detail could never have been matched by anyone else!  I've gotten the "best wedding ever" compliment from so many people and I know it was because of you guys! Again, thank you so much, it was definitely the best night of our lives!

Hi John,

We wanted to thank you all for a wonderful night.  You had our guests on the dance floor before you even started playing and once that happened, the dance floor was packed all night!   Our friends and family are still talking about how great the music was and how much fun they had.  Thank you all so much for being apart of making our wedding day perfect!!!

Dear John (and the rest of Those Guys), Thank you SO SO much for coming to Brooklyn for our wedding. We had THE BEST day/night ever. You can't imagine how many people have told us that our wedding was the best (actually - "the most awesome") wedding they've ever been to. Everything was absolutely perfect and so professional. You guys were awesome. During the dinner, our head waiter came up to us and said that everything was on schedule - down to the minute. I definitely owe my 2 hours on the dance floor to you. The announcements were wonderful. The dinner music was great and got everyone grooving. Once Those Guys came on, my father-in-law said he thought the glass walls were going to come down between the music and the people on the dance floor jumping about. I had the exact same feeling on the dance floor of our reception that I did that night at Kittens on Block Island. Best night out! Seriously, I can't pay you enough compliments.

Many thanks, Dave and Lianne Cleary

"Just got back from the honeymoon and I wanted to drop you note to express our gratitude for the outstanding job you guys did at the wedding. I have received feedback from a number of our guests and the comments were unanimous: the band was unbelievable! I can't tell you how many guests told us it was the best wedding they had been to and then went on to comment specifically about the band. Thank you for making our wedding so memorable. We had a blast, as did our guests, and you played a critical role in making that happen. Thanks again! "

"It is a huge compliment when, weeks after our wedding, people are still commenting on what a great time they had.  I know several people came up to the band at the end of the night to compliment you personally, but so many more have told us since then how much fun they had dancing to your music.  We had seen you perform several times before and knew we loved your sound.  I was impressed with you in our initial discussions - with your attention to detail and your responsiveness.  I was further impressed when we met in person and you paid attention to our requests and took notes regarding our plan of events.  I was thoroughly impressed, when, during the introductions, you pronounced everyone's names perfectly (not an easy task), you tailored the music to suit us (so fun!) and you had everyone out of their chairs dancing along.  The band created a fun and inviting atmosphere and made our wedding one huge party.  It was amazing.  I can't thank you enough for helping to create lasting memories of a perfect day!"

“Our wedding was flawless and you and your band was a major reason for this!!! We were not too concerned with the age group but what surprised us the most was that everyone from 5 years old to 85 years old was up and dancing all night. You guys are so easy to work with and made the whole night that much better. Not too mention you amplified the wedding ceremony and provided us with chill cocktail hour music that everyone got into as if it were the juke box at their local watering hole. Truly a full service!! Our wedding was awesome and you guys were a major contributor. Thanks so much!!

“John, Even before the wedding we were very pleased with your professionalism. You were very prompt in meeting with us and answering all of our questions and concerns. With our fairly large crowd, ranging in age from 2 to 90, you “Guys” rocked and kept even the people we thought would leave early on the dance floor all night. Playing the wide variety of music you were able to work the crowd, making sure everyone had fun. Your band truly made our night a real success. Many people are still talking about our wedding, complimenting our choice of entertainment. If anyone we know is looking for a band in the future, you will be our ONLY recommendation. Thanks John.”

“Dear Those Guys,

Your music, as always, was incredible and personal.  Compliments from the guests as well as neighbors were in abundance. We could not have asked for a better evening. You really made our wedding a blast. As far as accommodating to various ages, well we had guests from 8-80 years old dancing the night away.  My father was up in arms to have the band play for the event.  Papa Fain, 80 years old, danced the night away.  My little groupie cousins were just as excited.  We all enjoy great music and dancing and our pictures clearly illustrate the age groups that you reach. Thanks for making our night so much fun.”
